A regional business challenge to HIRE Promise College Interns
Higher Promise’s purpose is to support opportunity, equity, and ensure that pathways to careers in Kalamazoo are accessible to all Promise Scholars, especially populations with unequal access to high wage careers. Higher Promise connects the business community to post-secondary talent and Promise Scholars to authentic learning experiences in their fields of interest creating a professional network that supports career success.

What can Higher Promise do for you?
Scholars

Promise Scholars gain valuable job experience that relates to specific career interests.

Students are paired with a mentor to help Scholars grow professionally, and learn about the company and industry.

Participants will connect with and develop a peer network of 70+ Higher Promise Scholars.

Business partners attend the Higher Promise kick off and an end of the summer celebration events, helping students further develop their networks.
