Deep Dive w/ Dr. John | EP 015- Scholar Series: Santino Jones

In this episode, Dr. John sits down with Santino Jones, 2015 graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and co-creator of the “Deep Dive with Dr. John” theme music. With his Scholarship, Santino has attended Northwestern Michigan College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Western Michigan University where he studied audio engineering. Since then, he has worked with a variety of artists throughout Kalamazoo, Chicago, Los Angeles, and beyond. Santino talks with Dr. John about his academic and career pathway with The Promise, takes us through the process for how the beat for the podcast came to be, and discusses some of the upcoming & current music projects he’s working on throughout the next year.
