Communications & Public Relations Manager

As Communications & Public Relations Manager, Ca’Jon leads The Kalamazoo Promise’s communications and public relations efforts for local, statewide, and broader audiences. He oversees public messaging, media relations, digital communications, campaigns, and content strategy. His work includes social media, website management, photography, videography, graphic design, podcasting, and other multimedia storytelling that helps communicate The Promise’s impact to those audiences.

Ca’Jon is a proud Kalamazoo native and recipient of The Kalamazoo Promise. He used his scholarship to attend Western Michigan University, where he studied Public Relations and Spanish. As a Promise Alumnus, he shapes how he tells the story of the organization, its students, and the community it serves.

Outside of The Kalamazoo Promise, Ca’Jon enjoys working out, traveling, and working as a freelance photographer for a variety of clients.
