Declaration of Major Credit Limit Waiver

The Kalamazoo Promise provides for up to a 4 year scholarship towards a bachelor degree. The scholarship must be used in its entirety within 10 years of the date of your high school graduation and 4 years is defined as 130 credit hours or a bachelor degree, whichever occurs first. If your degree program requires more than 130 credits hours* you may be able to extend your benefits by completing Declaration of Major Credit Limit Waiver and returning it to The Kalamazoo Promise for approval.
(* The Kalamazoo Promise will not cover additional credits due to dropped or failed classes or those required for a minor or a second major. The Promise counts all credits for which they have paid toward the 130 credit limit. )
